In 2022, Milky☆Highway, a short 3D animated film by then-film school student Yohei Kameyama, made a splash on YouTube with its quirky worldbuilding and laid-back dialogue. The film went viral, pulling in over 6.7 million views, attracting fans not just in Japan but around the world.

Now, the long-awaited sequel, Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Limited Express, is set to premiere on TV and streaming platforms in July 2025!

Once again, Yohei Kameyama takes on nearly every role—director, screenwriter, character designer, modeler, animator, and editor. This incredible one-man production approach has stunned fans worldwide. The new installment will be dubbed in 10 languages and released globally on YouTube, solidifying Kameyama as one of the most exciting creators today.

The voice cast includes Momoka Terasawa (Yuzuki-san Chi no Yonkyoudai) as Chiharu, a genetically enhanced human, and Anna Nagase (Summer Time Rendering) as Makina, her cyborg best friend. Their fast, funny chemistry is sure to draw you in.
